Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promoter is Stuart Alexander & Co Pty Ltd, Level 3, 1 Smail Street, Ultimo, NSW 2007 ABN 43 000 058 677, Phone (02) 9282 7700.
  2. Entry is open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 15 years and above. Any winner must be accompanied with an adult, (18 years or over) to participate in the travel prize. The Competition is only open to Eligible Entrants. Entry is not open to any employee of the Promoter or any of their related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; and is not a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether full, half, step or by adoption) of such an employee.
  3. Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoters form part of these Conditions.
  4. To enter, you must purchase any Chupa Chups product or a Mini Mentos Rainbow bag 120g. Enter at and enter the last 4 digits of the product barcode plus date of birth, first and last name, phone number, email address, accept the T&C’s and submit their entry online. Each person is limited to 7 entries per week.
  5. The promotion commences 21/09/15 and closes at 11:59 pm AEST on 6/11/15.
  6. The draw will take place, in the presence of an independent witness at 11:00 AM AEST on 9/11/15 at Telads Australia operations, 123 Margaret Street Toowoomba Qld 4352.
  7. The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing on the 09/11/15. The notification will include instructions as to how the winner is to claim the prize and establish his/her entitlement to it. The name of the winner will also be published on the 11/11/15 at for a period of not less than 28 days.

    • The prize is a travel package for 4 to Los Angeles USA
    • Return economy flights for 4 people from nearest capital city to Los Angeles, USA. The air tickets can be allocated as 2 adults and 2 children (children being 12 years & under) or allocated as 4 adults
    • Includes Return airport / hotel transfers in the USA
    • 5 night’s hotel accommodation (minimum four star)
    • Reserved seating and dinner at The Stinking Rose restaurant.
    • Tour of Sony Pictures Animation Studios Money. Exclusively arranged by Sony Pictures Entertainment.
    • Travel insurance included.
    • Total travel package is valued up to $19,316.00 incl GST
  9. Prize must be redeemed and completed within 12 months of the competition close date.
  10. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to provide first and last names as per photo ID for the accommodation and flights.
  11. Flights blocked dates. Bookings can not be taken over Australia Public or National holidays or during the period 12th December 2015 to 12th January 2016. Winner will be required to produce credit card upon check in to hotel for incidentals. One winner must be over 18 Tickets are non-transferable (i.e. no name changes allowed). Once tickets are issued, they are non-endorsable and non-transferable. Any alterations to confirmed flights and/or accommodation details will be at the expense of the winner. All components of the Prize must be fulfilled at the same time and they cannot be split across different time periods. Once the Prize has been arranged, any changes to the travel, flights, accommodation or scheduling arrangements are at the expense of the Winner and their travelling companions. Individual supplier terms and conditions apply Flights: Flights are economy class and may be indirect. The airline’s Conditions of Carriage apply to all flights. The Winner and travelling companions must travel at the same time and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest Capital City Airport in Australia. The winner and their travelling companions will be responsible for making their way to and from their departing Australian airport. These conditions apply for all flights. Airline, flight route and dates of travel are subject to the promoter’s absolute and final decision. Winner and guest must have valid passports and visas/permissions if applicable.   12. The promoter or its agencies are not responsible for prize winners being denied entry to the USA if incorrect or false information is provided.
  13. All inclusions are non-transferrable or exchangeable for cash.
  14. The Promoter Stuart Alexander & Co Pty Ltd, Level 3, 1 Smail Street, Ultimo, NSW 2007 ABN 43 000 058 677, cannot accept any responsibility for any cancellation of, rescheduling of or changes to the any component of the prize or for the acts, omissions or errors of those over whom we have no direct or exclusive control. The Promoter does not accept any liability or responsibility for any injury, loss or damage of whatsoever nature (including any consequential loss or damage) or additional expense incurred or sustained by the prize winner arising out of or as a consequence, whether direct or indirect, of any of the entertainment services in connection with this prize package. The prize winner is fully responsible for its own conduct and the conduct of those travelling and will be liable for any damage or loss caused by such conduct, and indemnifies and holds harmless against Stuart Alexander & Co Pty Ltd, any and all liability for loss or damage of whatsoever nature (including any consequential loss or damage) incurred as a result of any act or omission of the client and its guests.
  15. If the prize chosen (or part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter will, in its absolute discretion, substitute alternative goods or services of no lesser retail value and/or specification, subject to the approval of the authorities that have issued permits for the conduct of the Competition. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by the winner or any other party if a prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason.
  16. Subject, where relevant, to any directions given under the legislation regulating the Competition, if the prize is not claimed, the prize will be awarded to another Eligible Entrant, selected by a random draw, in the presence of an independent witness, from all entries received during the competition period, at 11:00 AM AEST on 9/02/16 at Telads Australia operations, 123 Margaret Street Toowoomba Qld 4352.

  18. In order to be entitled to a prize, the winner must, if requested by the Promoter, agree to and sign a liability release, waiver and/or indemnity in favour of the Promoter and/or any person or other entity associated with this Competition.
  19. The Promoter may, at their absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid if the entrant:
    1. fails to establish their entitlement to enter the Competition to the Promoter’s satisfaction; or
    2. produces items that, in the Promoter’s opinion, are illegible, stolen, forged, reconstructed, altered, incomplete or tampered with in any way; or
    3. in the Promoter’s opinion, tampers with the entry process or benefits from such tampering;
    4. uses multiple email addresses or aliases; or
    5. in the Promoter’s opinion, submits an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions.
  20. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
  21. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in value of the prize.
  22. If for any reason the conduct or operation of the Competition is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including by fraud, unauthorised intervention, vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Competition, subject to the approval of the authorities that have issued permits for its conduct.
  23. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and the Promoter’s Agent are not responsible and liable for: inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information or any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoters or any Eligible Entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, or otherwise, any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of such communications; any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of the administering this Competition (whether as a result of one of the foregoing causes or otherwise).
  25. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, their associated companies and agencies and all those entities' personnel (the ’Relevant Parties’) excludes all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) whatsoever which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant arising out of or otherwise in connection with an Eligible Entrant, the Competition or the prize, including: any indirect, economic or consequential loss; any loss arising from or contributed to by the negligence of a Relevant Party; any liability for personal injury or death; and use of the prize.
  26. This clause does not affect any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
  27. All of the Promoters’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  28. The winner consents to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in any media at any time or times, without remuneration, for the purpose of promoting this Competition, the Promoter and/or any of the Promoters’ products.
  29. Eligible Entrants' personal information will be collected by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable them to administer the Competition and publicise their winner(s) and, if an Eligible Entrant consents, may be used to market the Promoters’ products to the Eligible Entrant. The personal information of the winners may be provided to others assisting in the conduct of the Competition, including the Competition administrator, prize suppliers and deliverers, and to regulatory authorities. Eligible Entrants may contact the Promoter during business hours to opt-out, request access to, or corrections of, any of their collected personal information that is held by the Promoter. If an Eligible Entrant does not provide accurate personal information the Promoter may, in their absolute discretion, determine that they are not eligible to win a prize.
